Rick’s Coins began operation in 1996 as an extension of my many years as a collector of United States Coins. I began by attending a coin show hosted by the Crescent City Coin Club in New Orleans, LA and my part time career as a Coin Dealer was off and running.

In October of 2001 I entered into a partnership with Vic Turner and opened a coin shop, The Coins and Collectibles Shop, Inc. located at 3712 Williams Boulevard, Suite I in Kenner, Louisiana.The shop has a full line of collectible US and World coins and currency as well as a good variety of supplies for the coin or currency collector.

Rick’s Coins and The Coins & Collectibles Shop currently specializes in coins for the collector. Our inventory consists of Small Cents from 1857 thru the present, Nickels from 1866 thru the present and Dimes, Quarters and Halves from 1892 thru the present in all grades. We also maintain a good selection of Morgan Silver Dollars in all grades including a number of certified (slabed) Coins.In addition to these we have a good selection of type coins from the early 1800’s to the present. The Shop also maintains a selection of U. S. Currency as well as a selection of Foreign Coins and Currency.

The Coins & Collectibles Shop also stocks a full range of supplies for the collector.The Shop carries a full line of Intercept Shield coin storage products as well as many commonly used collector supplies.
